Idea for VoIP and Flight
I’ve been reading up on how a lot of people want VoIP blocked on flights. I agree that it’s just wrong disturbing your fellow passengers just to talk about the new shoes you bought in Milan.
An idea hit me in the shower (where most of my ideas come from).
The Phone Booth™.
A section in the aircraft, akin to the restroom on a plane, with one access point that allows connections via UDP port 5060 and the Skype protocol. Make it all glass, and soundproof. Put it this way. If you are desperate enough to make a call, you should be willing to get up from your seat and go into The Phone Booth™.
